The Nottingham University Mavericks Ice Hockey Club is one of Britain’s largest and most successful university ice hockey clubs and a founding member of the BUIHA.

The Mavericks compete in the Nottingham Varsity series, bringing together students from the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University in one of the country’s biggest university sporting rivalries.

The annual ice hockey Varsity fixture attracts 7,000+ spectators at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for players and fans.
