The Nottingham Mavericks are a welcoming, inclusive and progressive club for players of all abilities. We welcome enquiries from university students or staff, located in the East Midlands, who are interested in joining the Nottingham Mavericks Ice Hockey Club. Whether you have never played Ice hockey before or you are an international professional, there will always be a place for you within our organisation.

We currently have five registered teams of varying abilities, who train once a week during the academic year, and who compete within the British University Ice Hockey Association (BUIHA). All teams participate in the annual BUIHA National Championships and club members also have the opportunity to compete in the annual Varsity and "Battle of Notts" events, between the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University.
